- Together we identify strategic acquisitions that will give injections of growth that fit in with your long term goals.
- Map of the target turnover and value add of the acquisition
3/ HOW YOU GET THERE – EXTERNALLY
Acquisition search phase and negotiation
- Put the plans and processes in place
- Draw up a time frame and action plan on how to get there as quickly as possible.
- Contact and short list potential target companies, review and recommend.
- Undertake initial negotiations with short list and narrow to one or two targets.
- Finalise the negotiations to conclusion and liase with your accountants for formal due diligence and your solicitors for contracts.
4/ … AND INTERNALLY
Mentoring / Coaching for Growth
Ongoing support with pre & post acquisition integration
- We work with owners and their senior management to develop skills required to prepare the business for growth and improved results.

How it Works
The Acquisition process, following strategy agreement, will generally take a minimum of four months but can take longer than six months depending on the specifics of your target.
At Otter & Associates our aim is to achieve a minimum of 40% Return on Investment for our clients in the most time efficient manner.
Rather than charging you a percentage of the acquisition price we charge you a success fee which is directly linked to the value of the acquisition to you.
